On Saturday the same team (the same dogs that were in Lahti a week ago) went to this huge Tampere Int show, I guess it's the 2nd biggest in Finland. Entry of Basenjis was 21 and the judge was mr. Ronald James from GBR.
First out in the ring was lovely young master Ruuti, winning junior class again with exc-1 and cq.
Brother Raisu had the same result in intermediate class.
Rocky was 3rd in champion class with cq as well. In the best male competition Ruuti was placed as 4th best male with a cc!! Followed by Raisu, who received the res-cc - so well done our boys!
Our lovely girl Hertta (HL Hula Hoops) was 3rd best bitch with a res-cacib and had a lovely critique, as well as did the boys!
We showed once again breeder's group and Hi-Lite was given the BOB-prize out of 2 groups! We were so happy!
In the finals, out of a great entry of course, this group was among the best 5!!!! The judge there was mr. Rodney McDowell (IRL).
On Sunday, Hertta's owner Mari took her to a LC competition, and they drove 350 kilometers one way... Anyway, it was all worth it as Hertta won the 1st prize with her 3rd LC CC out of her 3rd race!!! She even managed to fall down in the final run, still she scored lovely points 460 together!! This is just wonderful news - congrats dear! These are Hertta's:
Yesterday I also made a "small trip" to Oulu area to meet 3 of our pups out of the latest litter living there. They are now 5 months and I am very very pleased on how they all look!
This is mr. Seti (Wise Guy):
And this is little Lilja (Wow Factor), we looooove also her:
I also met Hilla (Wannabe). Hilla has a very beautiful head and she is a gorgeous mover.
Thank you everyone involved this weekend - you all are just priceless <3
